The Alliance for Artisan Enterprise, founded in November 2012 and hosted by the Aspen Institute, is a collaborative effort of over 70 artisan businesses, artisan support organizations, corporations, government agencies, and other partners who are working together to promote the full potential of the global artisan sector.

The Alliance for Artisan Enterprise was created to elevate the importance of the artisan sector, support and grow artisan businesses, and share best practices in a collaborative learning community.

Best practices shared with artisan businesses across the globe

The Alliance for Artisan Enterprise member network is a diverse community of artisan businesses, social enterprises, individuals, and more working at different points in the artisan supply chain and around the world. Each member is integral to the artisan sector as a whole, and has important insights to share. To share learnings, provide short trainings, and reach our members around the world, the Alliance hosts a monthly Digital Learning Series for our members.

How does it work?

The Alliance works with our members, especially technical service providers, to host short (30-45 minute) webinars and create other digital resources to support the businesses in our network. The series is intended to share best practices and encourage collaboration within our member network. All sessions are digital, and are recorded and saved for members to access at any time.

Members, are you interested in participating in the next Digital Learning Series or watching previous sessions? Find sign-up information and the Digital Learning Series archive in our member portal!
